The Fuel+ EX 8 is a quiet and composed electric mountain bike built for tackling any trail.

It all starts out with an Alpha NEXT Platinum aluminium frame that gives you a smooth boost thanks to TQ's HPR-60 motor. A Fox Performance suspension package (145 mm rear, 150 mm front) keeps handling confident in the rough, while SRAM's Eagle 70 transmission delivers the smooth-shifting advantage of T-Type at a pocket-friendly price. It is all wrapped up with 4-piston SRAM DB 8 hydraulic disc brakes for stopping power on the steeps.

The Fuel+ features a new frame design that gives you loads of room for range extenders, long dropper posts, bigger shocks, and frame bags. The TQ HPR60 motor delivers more power and torque than before, and kicks in at a lower cadence so you feel the boost earlier. Plus, a 580 Wh battery gives you more efficient power for your longest rides yet.

Only you can define your perfect trail bike, which is why Fuel is available in three adjustability-packed configurations: EX for do-it-all capability, MX for pop-happy riding, or LX for charging through it all.

• Adjustable leverage rate: Flip the chip in the lower shock mount for a more progressive leverage rate, offering more bottom-out resistance without giving up small-bump sensitivity.
• Zero stack integrated headset: With a ZS standard headset, you have options for aftermarket upgrades, including angle adjust.
• Active Braking Pivot: Allows engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently, providing more confident control when you need it most.
• Transition to transmission: The SRAM Eagle T-Type transmission mounts directly to the frame, making for a more robust system that is more precise under load and easier to set up.
• Low-emission aluminium: Starting in 2024, Trek began removing high-emission aluminium from manufacturing and replacing it with low-emission aluminium made with renewable energy.
