Important safety information regarding a batch of 2021 Orbea MX 16, 20, 24 and LAUFEY 20<\/strong> models.<\/p>\n

As a result of the ongoing quality and safety checks Orbea performs on their products, they have detected the remote possibility of handlebar breakage in a limited and known number of MX 16, 20, 24 and LAUFEY 20<\/strong> junior bikes, during the use of these products.<\/p>\n

As such we have identified that you have purchased a Orbea junior bike from our store that may fall within scope of the safety recall.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What you need to do<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

1) Please STOP <\/strong>using the bicycle immediately.\u00a0<\/p>

2) Please locate and make note of the bicycle\u2019s unique frame number. This number is usually found printed on a sticker on the downtube of the frame. Please see the video below to help you locate this.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3) Once you have located the frame number, please call our Otley store on 01943 462773<\/a> (opt 1) and our team will be able to confirm if your bicycle is affected by the recall.<\/p>

If your bike is found to be affected, we will arrange for the handlebar and stem assembly to be replaced free of charge at your local Chevin Cycles store or Orbea retailer.<\/p>

We are awaiting details from Orbea on lead times for the replacement handlebar and stem assemblies, however, you can be assured that it is our priority to deal with this as quickly as possible.<\/p>
