The Verve+ offering from one of our main brands, Trek, is a modern styled leisure bike that is built comfort in a variety of riding conditions. Whether that’s commuting, getting around town or for recreational rides, the Verve’s sleek looking colour coded mudguards and integrated lights make for a very neat little package. With 700c wheels wrapped in a plush 45c tyre, the Verve can deal with any of the rough roads that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer – as well as a suspension seat post to make sure that you’re comfortable all day long. The Bosch Active Line motor makes this bike the perfect companion for leisurely days in the saddle.
Raleigh Motus Grand Tour
Raleigh’s Motus range is as traditional as the brand itself. The frames themselves are all designed with a classic geometry, whilst also being packed with modern features. SKS Mudguards, built in lights, a Bosch Active Line Plus motor as well as powerful hydraulic disc brakes make this a really enjoyable bike to ride.
How To Book
Booking a bike for the day is a very simple – you can give us a ring or pop into the store, and as long as there is room in the calendar, we will book you a slot there and then. The earlier you do this, the more chance you will have of being able to hire a bike on the day that you so desire. With the rising popularity and demand for E-Bikes we would definitely recommend booking well in advance, although the minimum amount of notice we need would usually be around 48 hours so it might just be worth enquiring if you have a last-minute opportunity to give one a try.
Hiring one of our E-bikes costs £25 for half a day (morning or afternoon) and £35 for a full day – this cost is deductible however from the cost of a new bike, should you go on to purchase one. We can supply a helmet and any tools/puncture repair equipment that you might need – just bring yourself, appropriate clothes for the weather and some photo ID (driving license, passport) and you’ll be good to go!
