Incredible magnesium handlebar
The magnesium alloy handlebar is a feat of structural engineering that required more than thirty prototypes to perfect, and weighs 33% lighter than an aluminium equivalent. Integrating throttle, brake, horn and LED light functionality, as well as the clear display, the Model One’s handlebar is one of the sleekest on the market.
Dual 250W motors
The E500 features a dedicated 250W motor in each wheel, supplying 500W and 32Nm of torque, so you can climb hills of up to 15 degree incline with ease. The motors are of the highest quality, constructed using neodymium magnets and a monitoring system to prevent overheating, and have been optimised for performance, efficiency, responsiveness and longevity.
Carbon tubing
Unagi has used Japanese Toray carbon fibre in its tubing to blend light weight and heavy-duty strength. The carbon composite is laid by hand, distributing the fibre layers strategically where they’re needed most. In fact, the same type of carbon is used in Space-X rockets!
Confident Braking
With dual electronic anti-lock brakes, you’ll always be able to bring yourself to a safe stop. The levers are pressure-sensitive, enabling rider modulation and additional control, while the Model One also features an additional step-on fender brake, which brings additional power when more sudden stops are needed.
