As well as being one of the leading cycle stores in the country, we also offers a comprehensive repair service from workshop stocked with most comprehensive range of tools.
Our technicians are all experienced road and mountain bike riders, trained to ATG Cytech Level 2 and above, guaranteeing you will always get the best advice and quality of service. They allow us to tailor our services very accurately to your needs because they're riders just like you. We will carry out work on all cycles, not just the brands we sell.
Our workshop gets very busy at popular times, although our usual lead time is 3-5 days. We recommend contacting us on workshop@chevincycles.com or call 01943 462773 to arrange a convenient time. Once booked, we'll have your bike finished the same day as long as the parts are in stock.
Check Service £25*
This service is provided to give you access to expert advice and an evaluation of your cycle before any work is carried out.
- All parts and components inspected for wear/damage or any other issues.
- Evaluation form provided detailing any maintenance work required and an approximate cost.
- Service price credited towards any further labour charges where required.
Standard Service £45*
Designed for the leisure/sport cyclist who wants to ensure the best possible condition of their cycle for the season ahead.
Free booking-in evaluation by our expert technicians detailing any immediate work required.
- Gears, gear cables and drivetrain components checked for damage, adjusted, cleaned and lubricated.
- Brakes, brake pads, cables or hoses checked for damaged and adjusted.
- Wheel alignment, spoke tension, hub bearings checked and adjusted. Rim and tyre condition checked.
- Frame, fork, headset and all structural components aligned, adjusted and checked for wear/damage. Shock pressures set to rider weight.
- All bolts, fastenings and locknuts checked for damage and torque pressures checked.
Cycle test ridden to ensure quality of service. Evaluation form provided detailed any specific maintenance work carried out during the service and any work that may be required in the future.
REMEMBER: All components bought from us are fitted free when combined with this service!
Full Service £120
Designed for the sport/expert cyclist who wants to know that their cycle is ready to take them to the next level of riding over the season ahead.
Free booking-in evaluation by our expert technicians detailing any immediate work required.
Work carried out on the cycle as Standard Service above plus the following extras:
- Every single component stripped from frame, cleaned and de-greased. Frame checked inside and out for wear or damage.
- All controlled contact surfaces and threads including bottom bracket, head tube, disc brakes mounts cleaned, tapped and faced where appropriate.
- Hubs and headset stripped, cleaned and serviced.
- Cycle fully rebuilt with fresh cables and grease.
- Service excludes suspension systems (rear shocks and forks).
Cycle test ridden to ensure quality of service. Evaluation form provided detailed any specific maintenance work carried out during the service and any work that may be required in the future.
