TRAILS AND ALES - THE RETURN!

A chance to discover (or rediscover!) local MTB routes in a friendly group at a relaxed pace!

The Next trails and Ales Ride will start at 10:00 from ChevIn Cycles Shop car park in Gay Lane, Otley on Sunday 19th April 2009

The route will take us up the Washburn Valley past Lindley Wood Reservoir and up to Swinsty Reservoir.

I expect the ride to be around 20 miles and that we will be out for about 5 hours returning to Otley around 15:00.

People should bring packed lunch and I will aim to stop at Swinsty (ice cream van). Route will depend on how much rain we have had as some areas can get a bit muddy under foot after prolonged rain.

If you are coming by car you should park in the public car park in Walkergate just around the corner from Chevin Cycles.

The ride will be mainly off-road and at a social pace. Please make sure that you are equipped for the ride with appropriate clothing, off-road tyres, water and a helmet and check that your bike is in good order.

Look forward to seeing you on 19th

Future rides

Future Trails and Ales rides will be held monthly on the second Sunday of the month – The May ride, however, will be on 17th May and will probably start in the Dales. The June ride will be on 14th June 2009.
