World Championships results for Team Chevin Cycles

Two of our Team Chevin Cycles – Bang & Olufsen capped their recent successes in the gruelling sport of 24-hour solo endurance racing by representing the UK at the World Championships in Canberra, Australia in October 2010.

Both Jon and Jane completed the grueling race, with several hundred metres of climbing per lap - and riding alongside kangaroos!

Jon finished an impressive 8th completing 16 laps!

Jane finished a fantastic 5th! completing 15 laps

A big part of a riders success at 24hour racing is how good a support crew you have. Jon and Jane both claim that their success was in large part due to the sterling support of their pit crew who stayed awake for the whole 24-hour marathon keeping them fed, watered and motivated so that they could concentrate on riding.
